  • There is a museum located in BMO Centre showcasing the history of seeds and grains in Alberta 
  • The first seed and hay exhibit was shown at the fall fair in 1886
  • The Calgary and District Agricultural Society partnered with the Canadian Pacific Railway to create railcar displays of local produce that traveled the country hoping to change people’s perceptions of the region, which was thought to be barren and snow-covered during most of the year
